Tom is a Gunditjmara man & creative professional based in Geelong, Australia. He is currently the manager of Indigenous Inclusion in the Office of Indigenous Strategy & Innovation at Deakin University, and supports the development and delivery of Deakin's Indigenous Strategies, as well as developing initiatives to increase access, outreach, success and retention for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

Neil interests include critical theory, critical pedagogy, participatory action research and pragmatic inquiry learning as they apply across all areas of knowledge and the curriculum in schools and universities.

He sees respect and recognition between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples of Australia as essential for democratic life.
